My ISP is concentrating on its business customers, so I've had to

Pages at the Primenet address will soon be removed (with a redirect,
natch), so please update your bookmarks. I'm holding off updating my
email address until I see how my new ISP settles out.
Further changes are possible, so please bear with me.

Changed the sunset for the new marker in
words of one beat
from two to three weeks. Validated, culled, and rearranged fluff.

Added markers for works posted in the last two weeks to
words of one beat. This uses Javascript,
but it degrades gracefully.

For the pedant's millenium, debuted a page of
political links.
- 11-13 Dec 00 -
Revisions to miserablities in progress, including adding
two stick figure animations.

Even with its applet, promoted reasons to be miserable
out of the lab and into the main directory. Maybe I'll start updating it now.

Continued adding science links, to the point that the page
is now metastable.
This means that while links will be added as they are found (just as has been
happening with the research and fluff pages), the text more or less fulfills
the original conception.
Also, updated parts of the typography page.

Trimmed more non-reference science links from
research.

History began.
Separated out a science section of the news page,
expanding the links. Removed some not strictly reference links from the research
page, to reappear in a science page (in progress).
